Meet the Creature Comforts Veterinary Hospital Team

Dr. Ashley Williams

Dr. Ashley Williams joined Creature Comforts Veterinary Hospital in 2013. She earned her DVM from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. After graduation Dr. Williams worked at a small animal practice and animal shelter in West Des Moines. Dr. Williams has a special interest in surgery and dentistry. She resides in Bondurant with her husband, daughter and Golden Retriever. Ashley enjoys spending time with family, friends, boating and attending Iowa State football games.

Dr. Jessica Noble

Dr. Jessica Noble joined Creature Comforts Veterinary Hospital in early 2015. Dr. Noble earned her DVM from Iowa State University in 2012. After graduation she took a position in the Quad Cities at a small-animal private practice for two years before taking the opportunity to move back to central Iowa. Dr. Noble has a special interest in small animal medicine but also enjoys surgery. She resides in Carlisle with her husband, three children (Vivienne, Henry, and Gwendolyn), three dogs and Carson their cat. In her free time, Jessica enjoys reading, traveling, trying new foods, and enjoying time outside.

Dr. Chelsea Woiwood

Dr. Chelsea Woiwood joined Creature Comforts Veterinary Hospital at the beginning of 2017. She earned her DVM from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. After graduation, Dr. Woiwood worked at a small animal practice in Gilbert, Iowa. Dr. Woiwood enjoys preventative care and having the chance to dabble in everything else. She resides in Ames with her husband and two dogs. Chelsea enjoys baking, reading, and running.

Dr. Brittany Duellman

Dr. Brittany Duellman joined Creature Comforts Veterinary Hospital in the summer of 2017. She earned her B.S. in Biomedical Science from the University of Wisconsin River Falls and her DVM from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Dr. Duellman has special interests in dentistry, small animal surgery, and cardiology. She resides in Des Moines with her husband Drew, and their two dogs Gigi and Ruthie. Outside of work Dr. Duellman enjoys cycling, cooking, traveling, and watching sports (especially the Green Bay Packers).

Dr. Mark Johnson

Dr. Mark Johnson joined Creature Comforts Veterinary Hospital in the spring of 2020. He earned his DVM from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Upon graduation, Dr. Johnson worked at a small animal veterinary hospital in Crosslake, Minnesota. Dr. Johnson has special interests in internal medicine and dentistry. He also loves interacting with his clients and their pets. In his free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and is an avid sports fan. (Go Cyclones!). Dr. Johnson resides in Ankeny with his two Golden Retrievers, Hank and Maynard.

Dr. Alex Miller

Dr. Alex Miller joined Creature Comforts Veterinary Hospital in the spring of 2021. He earned his DVM from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Following graduation, Dr Miller worked at a small animal practice in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Miller has a strong interest in dentistry, surgery, and ultrasonography. In his free time, he enjoys being outside with his family or in the garden. He resides in Polk City with his wife and daughter, and their dog George.

Dr. Caitlin Herriott

Dr. Caitlin Herriott received her Bachelor of Animal Science from the University of Maryland in 2013. She then moved to Iowa and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2017. Following veterinary school, Dr. Herriott moved to Phoenix where she practiced at a busy small animal hospital for several years. She and her fiancé moved back to Iowa where she practiced at a hospital in Ames. Dr. Herriott has a special interest in surgery as well as preventative care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their fur-babies. They have two dogs, Dobby and Mei, and three cats, Smudge, Kahlua, and Jack. She also enjoys reading, biking, and playing board games.
